Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how SST Garments collects, uses, stores, and shares information when authorized staff and vendor partners use the SST Garments application.
1. Information we collect
We collect information needed to operate the SST Garments platform, including account details such as your name, email address, and basic Google profile information used for sign-in.
We also collect business records that you or your organization create in the application, such as samples, production orders, supply orders, receiving records, notes, and uploaded files or photos.
2. How we use information
We use this information to authenticate users, manage role-based access, support garment operations workflows, maintain audit trails, investigate misuse, and improve the reliability and security of the service.
3. How information is shared
Information is shared only as needed to operate the platform. This includes sharing with authorized SST Garments personnel, authorized vendor users connected to relevant workflows, and service providers that help deliver the application, such as authentication, hosting, storage, and database providers.
We do not sell personal information or use Google account data for unrelated advertising purposes.
4. The SST Garments iPhone app
The iPhone app uses the same accounts and the same business records as the website. It adds the following:
- Camera. Used only to scan the QR code on an incoming shipment. The image is read on the phone and is never stored or uploaded; only the scanned code is sent to look up the shipment.
- Push notifications. If you allow notifications, the app registers a push token for your phone, linked to your account, so that alerts such as a completed production phase reach your lock screen. Signing out, signing in as someone else, or deleting the app stops them.
- Sign-in session. Your session is stored encrypted on the phone, with the key kept in the iOS Keychain. Signing out removes it.
The app contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
5. Data retention and security
Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce internal access controls.
SST Garments uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect data, but no internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.
6. User choices
Access to the application is invite-only. If you need your account information corrected, access removed, or data reviewed, contact admin@sstgarments.com.
7. Policy updates
SST Garments may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
